Client: Columbia University Law School
Standing with women of color in the fight for maternal health.
About The Client
The Public Rights / Private Conscience Project is staffed by leading scholars working at the intersections between religious exemptions, sexual and reproductive liberty and equality rights, racial justice, and gender justice. The project is a part of Columbia Law School’s Center for Gender and Sexuality Law. The Center for Gender and Sexuality Law’s mission is to formulate new approaches to complex issues facing gender and sexual justice movements.
PRPCP published a landmark study about the impact of religious freedom laws on women of color seeking maternity care at Catholic hospitals. We had the honor of being contacted to design this report. PRPCP wanted the style to be modern yet clean, and also wanted the style to provide relief from the emotional weight of the report. The result was an airy and tranquil publication.
